Lower arm ball joints :angrywife: :angrywife: :angrywife: :angrywife: :angrywife:

Had to completely remove the hubs to get at them, taper was so tight it broke my ball joint splitter
One side done, one side just needs the new joint fitting.

Then just need to see which rear arm bushes have failed and swear at them.

Steve.

List time I had one to split I used an old technique a mate of mine suggested, which was basically a "sharp tap" with a hammer on the outer part. Usually the shock is enough to split the joint - I split a hub from an old 1600 wishbone that I'd had lying around for years because my joint splitter wouldn't do it. Usually put something the other side of the joint to stop it moving quite so far.
