1969 HB GT - Extensive Restoration

Hi all, heres the start of the restoration of the HB GT that i own, Its a (from what ive been told) a MK1.5 been sitting in the garage for the past 10 years and now its time to get it back (hopefully) to its former glory!

I have been informed that this is a MK1 not a MK1.5 :goodluck:

PS fantastic colour I like Erkhart Yellow and did consider repainting mine that colour but someone got hold of me , shock me and said don't be f**** daft keep it the original colour....

I know this car !!!, used to belong to ( if I recall correctly) a guy called Steve Smith, who lived in Enderby , Leicester!...one of 'our' group back in 1987/88, infact I very nearly purchased it in early '89...back then it was a very tidy car!. Good luck with it !.
