It may be worthwhile to give DVLA a shout, my logbook only took two months to arrive!

Excellent progress by the way, will we see this Estate at Billing 2013? :D

Right, has anyone got any idea why i did have brakes, but then after making the mistake of trying to split a front caliper on the drivers wheel i now have none? i did get a funny feeling in my foot as i pushed down to try and bleed them after changing all the flexi pipes on the car , but i cant see why i have no brakes at all.... its got to be something to do with the wheel caliper??? i cant see why its gone otherwise. is it possible that the seals inside the mastercylinder have turned inside out ? its doing my thinker in .....

you could have destroyed the master cylinder seals, normally they move only a short distance, but bleeding by pushing them further than they would normally go can mean they can get destroyed on a bit of the bore that's got damaged over time, try taking it apart, they are not that difficult!

Try using a pressure bleeder, they are obtainable from Halfords and use air from the spare tyre. I too have had problems following a caliper rebuild, airlocks sometimes take a while to disperse, very disheartening believe me. :(

well, after borrowing a vacuum pump and running it thru a bottle, then opting back to the UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN UP, UP, DOWN, you get the idea, well, lizzy has once again got brakes!!!
it took me and my next door neibourabout 2 hours non stop, and the manual said do front drivers , left and then rear, we got a damn good pedal as well... very happy indeed..

yay !! one step closer to mot time... :imsmiling:
battery tray to weld back in, washer bottle, and some new tyres and an exhaust then we will see.....
