"Barney" breathed he's first air today, after being laid up in 1991.
All the dash works ok,oil pressure is 40 at idle which im really pleased with,
Rev counter is working and looks pretty accurate.
Just rear brakes and pipes to do then off for the mot.

Fitted new brake caliper pistons today, freed them off and resealed them last year but knew they would not take new pads if new pistons were not fitted.
Worked out the girling caliper is the same as triumphs etc 48mm pistons.
Got these from Mevs Spares 07895 052 973(same place for seals)
Removed calipers ,held one piston with stilsons as shown and used compressed air on brake line to remove one piston at a time. The whole refurb of both calipers was £40.00 pound in total(pistons £29.00 seals £10.50)
Hope this helps someone.
Terry
