Excellent, work. All coming together! Nothing wrong in starting them young.

A little more painting done by my youngest and the gearbox is looking smart. I'm hopefully going to get it fitted before next weekend and then maybe see about getting her started :)

The cold winter weather certainly slows the progress down but stuff is getting done a little at a time. The gearbox got fitted a while ago along with a checked and re-painted prop, manifolds and starter wiring all fitted and have almost finished painting the pedal box and servo/brackets. I know I've said it before but would love to get the engine started soon.....

Hi guys, can't believe how long it's been and, the car has been stood for literally years. Until seeing the dates on here I hadn't realised how long.
A small amount of work has been done since but not a lot. I have recently been sorting some of the smaller issues but now with more time available a little more is getting done.
Over the years various people have given me parts they've had lying around and I've come across a few bits that I assume are HC. I'll make a list if anyone needs them.

So, managed to spend a bit of time on the Viva over the last couple of weeks. The plan was to clean up the sills and get them looking tidy, after lots of faffing they were deemed too crusty and we're cut off and replaced. The ones that were on there had seen lots of action and the car had been jacked up on them and been crushed, because of this a lot of the inner lip needed replacing aswell. Both sides done and once I saw behind them I'm glad I did.
