Onto the inner arch sh*t covers, i made up a cardboard template which will be transferred to some ABS sheet and fitted.

Thanks, a few more pics of the wiper linkage essy, which is 2 speed

Made up the wiper linkage water shields out of ABS plastic, just big enough to do the job with out the vents being affected.

Made up the dirt guards again in ABS plastic, and fitted to the car, that's something else to cross off the list.

Pretty easy to work with, just used a jig saw and sander if anyone fancies a go, oddly these are missing on my other HB which is strange considering the mileage.

Head lamps are now done and mounted

Anyone notice the small indicator between the lights? the reason i was experimenting is because the lower indicators will not be seen clearly from the front with the quarter bumpers fitted so just mulling over a few ideas.

Looking superb Bill.

Those inner wing filler panels actually look quite a lot better than the OE fibreboard items I bought recently!

This must now surely be a contender for most rust free HB in existence! :D

I can just about make out the small clear LED triangular indicators. An interesting idea. How do you intend to modify the grille to suit them? Just a thought, you could fit orange LED's in a sidelight hole inside the inner headlights as indicators.

I'm not sure how they would fit on a standard HB Colin as this one has the front lower floor cut back so may not be so easy.
Well you might think its rust free, but i'm sure its far from it in other nooks and crannies. i think the contender would be my other low miler.

Well my first question would be, what grill? as i don't have one its getting a bespoke one so it will all go together one way or another. i thought the triangular indicators might work well but not sure now.
I do need side lights but to be honest i've not really thought of fitting them in the headlights,
