Yeh i did think of that Fred but with discs in short supply and all that, anyway ive done a disc conversion on the rear axle (2.3) and wanted to modify the front a little.
Your right though, i used to own a v8 viva that had ohc all round but with the addition of a remote servo, the brakes were very good

Go for spaced Girling M16 calipers from a Crapee. They bolt straight on with a metric pipe fitting and have 15% more pad area than a Snoot P16.

The spacers for the M16 are also cheaper than the ones for the P16.

I have P16's on standard discs and they alone are a great improvement over standard Magnum ones. I'm converting to M16 pads at the next pad change.

Well thats what i had hoped to do, the discs are 265mm which make them about 1mm or 2 to large, for the m16, ive tryed a caliper but they wont fit, at least not at the moment, so i might look for something else rather than machining the disc.
interestingly Rally design now do the vented m16 for a little over 100 quid for a pair (No exchange ) which seems fair enough

Thought id sort the rear valance out as at some time its had a lower part badly fitted, so a quick cut to reshape.
