When i get this side done i can then look at the front end and chassis legs, but i probably do the engine fit with the front stripped, not doing the z20let fit, gone back to my original idea, but will stay nowt for now. :D

Had a good few hours on it today,

hacked off the front which needs work, however i have another complete front in better condition so will probably use that

end of todays play, bulkhead holes cleaned up ready for filling, although the bulkhead will be modded a bit to accommodate the engine.

Progressing well.

Is the other engine the one you mentioned when I picked up the 1159? I hope so.

I'll hush my mouth.

Keeping the engine and box until I can hear what Joes is like. If all is OK I'll donate them to the Club spares.

Keep up the good work.

At the moment i need to hang onto it until i know the full condition of the one i've got, sods law and all that, if you can wait awhile.

Bit more chopping today, sorry about the pic for some reason it turns this way when downloaded from iphone, i not sure why.
This side had been plated previously but was over plated, so had to cut it all out, also taking off the other arch lump so its the same as other side as previously mentioned.

Thats a bit more like it, the best bit about fab/welding is the feel good factor after you've done all that hard work. You will notice the i havnt bothered with putting in all the various pressings that the Hb have in the sills and kick panel etc, as i only have a hammer and three inch vice, but i have increased the steel gauge in these areas.

A little bit on the bulkhead, not as bad as the other side, jeeez these things now how to rot, lol

then onto the sill, once that's out of the way i can decide what to do with the front end, i'm considering having a bolt on front and wings
