Looks familiar! I opted to change the design of the repair so 1/. it didn't trap *Bleep* and 2/. allowed a coil over option should I wish to go that direction at a later date.

thought i had found the solution for the wheel arch repair, a mk 1/2 fiesta has a very similar profile but not really suitable for my needs, i would rather have a piece of viva arch which i know are out there, just have to wait awhile i guess, i dont really wont to make it up in bits, i think im getting more anal in my old age :D

Gone off the bodywork for a while and thought i would concentrate on the front axle, the plan is to fit a front antiroll bar, so having acquired a badly rusted up front axle off a GT i thought i would salvage the antiroll bar if i could, so started making up the brackets.

Chopped off the ARB mountings rather than lugging the front axle around,

On with the front brakes mod aswell, the front brake disc option is pretty limited to be honest and as i will be fitting 13 inch banded rims i wanted to fit 10inch ish discs with calipers that don't foul the rims or full lock, and after spending hours trawling through brake eng catalogue have come back to the renault 21 discs.

The trouble with this mod is it just doesn't look right with the disc mount and all the holes going on, so they will be mounted with a securing plate that adds extra strength and covers the visible holes, more pics when completed. :)
