Yes, i forgot to mention there will be a baffle plate more or less like the original but i cant attend to that until ive done the oil pick up, thats why its still in two bits, so i can make the pickup pipe and make sure it all clears, which ill do in due course. :)

Unfortunately, wings & wheel arches seem to be thin on the ground these days, If the arches on your existing front wings are OK you can use them to repair the rear arches, fibreglass front wings are still available from smith & deakin, so that's another alternative

Oh my, is it that time already, i had hoped to get it all paneled up for the end of 2016, but have been side tracked with another addition to use over the summer which has taken my time over the last few months, a MK1 granada, yeh i know i appologize.
Well the granny has gotta go now i have a second HB, anyone?
So finally got the inner wings, slam, and front panels blasted and etch primed before assembly, zink primed the chassis legs then spent hours doing a dummy run and once aligned screwed it together with self tapers :D

I think the worse bit about aligning it all up was the inner front panel, it lies at an angle on the front chassis legs and if its not right the lower front panel wont line up with the wings, an awful lot of stripping down and fitting up again to get this right :(

Im very pleased with the gaps as it goes back together, i may have wasted hours doing the dummy runs but it was worth it.

So strengthening frame now removed, thats it so far, i need the wings blasting and priming and they need some work in a few places but thought that would be best after having them blasted, im going to leave the front panel until the wings go on as with the bonnet gaps, it all needs tweaking until its aligned, still not decided on the wings yet but think i may now weld them on.
