Well i thought the bonnet i was going to use was in good order but after a good look with my glasses on realized it was far from it, so i have another bonnet in good nick but the hinge mount has rotted out one side, the old bonnet came in handy for repairs.

A bit tricky to do as the welding tends to pull the bonnet out of shape abit, i can only assume Mitch had a barrel of laughs doing his bonnet.

I've watched this thread for ages and you never cease to impress me with how you overcome a problem.

Well done Sir!

Yes Mitch did, and wouldn't bother splitting the whole thing apart again, it was a nightmare :(

You have done an excellent job my friend, I hang my head in shame :D

Thanks for your feed back chaps, always appreciated.
I'm feeling a little under pressure to be honest, the car is off to the paint shop it a few weeks time, but i still seem to be able to find things to do to it, although the build post paint shop should be pretty straight forward, i'm getting quite exited tbh. :D

Best to sort out the seat mounts now before it goes off to the paint shop. many moons ago i welded some plates onto the floor for seat strengthening, however i couldn't work them in as i didn't want the mount wider than the seats.
Decided to go for the MX5 seats as i didn't really fancy buckets in it.

Front sub frame rear mounts now at hand, the front ones should be ready shortly

i've put the car on a dolly now and fitted the replacement os door, i wasn't right keen on repairing the other door and this one came up just at the right time, bonus.

its been a while since its been out in the sun shine
