Tonight's question - cleaning parts

Postby jpsmit » Mon Feb 10, 2014 4:49 am

Not much of an update, it is simply too cold to spend much time in the garage, so, lots of cleaning instead. I bought a vibratory tumbler last summer for the nuts and bolts and am pleased with the results. Unfortunately every time i turn around i fins another tub or bag of unmarked bolts and screws - sheesh.

Anyways, I am slowly starting to clean and repair the interior. I have the hard plastic air vents from the dashboard. Are they comething I could run through a dishwasher or would the heat warp them? Any thoughts?

Well i think i would ask myself this question, can i afford to do without them if they crack or break, personally if the temp is high i dont think i would bother, maybe warm soapy water and a brush would be better.
