Oh that aint too bad at all!!!! Cheaper then renting a council lockup. Plus I bet you have a good bunch of friends there and some good laughs.

Yeah I was told this too ages ago. However the one I fitted into my wagon went straight in. No fuss.

I had to move my servo and mc over in the V6 viva ages ago when I fitted the V6 but it wasn't hard to do- I cut a new pedal to suit from 8mm steel and modified the bulkhead. Gave me loads more space.

A carb that works really well on 1159/1256 are the Hitachis that came on the Datsun A series engines. The A12 carb is almost perfect jetting for a 1159. The choke sizes grow with the engine size. The have a mechanical secondary that works well. Smooth transition and really economical on the small choke. Nice small tidy carbs. I bought a brand spanking new one from Ali express for my Imp- about 60 squid landed in NZ! Works a treat.

That carb I had bought for my Imp. But a friend further south , who I had bought the wagon from, has used lots of them on Viva engines. He had sold me a manifold ages ago for one but i never used it and sold it on. would easy enough to adapt a nikki manifold though.
