Joking aside....it's great to here that the shell is better than expected.

Ooh Err you are catching me up - we have done the blasters but now need to sort the inner wings out before going to the paint shop - have to abandon hopes for Billing this year

That looks just like mine Fred ...copycat
It all takes time, so I'm pretty sure mine won't be at Billing this year either.
We can compare next year...over a beer, thinking how much did it cost us?? :)
Photo's are still stuck in the phone, I'll figure it out, eventually..

Then when we collected it , didn't realise how long it would take to do the half mile to the body shop. As is always the case, everything was delayed so we picked it up in the 'school run', not what we needed...

Was taken to the same place that did my GLS & they used a different type of media, which was better. Came out like a silver car, instead of a sieve. The holes that were there didn't really get much bigger, but it finally got rid if the expanding foam sills :D .
It was primed the same day with paint that needed a week to harden/bond...?

At this stage a BIG thank you to everyone who has helped me with bits & bobs/ panels/brackets etc. :thanx:

It's been a while since I posted an update, for many reasons. But we are moving forward again.
Due to illness the rework has been on hold for 3 months, but the body has now been restored & hopefully all the 'rust traps' have been engineered out.
Still have to do spot repairs to the doors before they can be painted.
Have got the paint ready (more than enough, I think) to do the job + touch ups...
The next hurdle will be getting the stripes. I have a few samples of size & colour, so we will see...
