moving on to the front, the offside wing was removed which wasn't hard as it was totally rotten, I was left with this
its had repair panels fitted in the past quite poorly so these were removed

this is where I am at the moment, i'll either replace the complete inner wing, or weld in new repair panels, not decided yet :?

decided to weld in repair panels rather than change the whole inner wing, going for as low a budget as possible, butt welded these in from underneath so that cleaning up the welds in the engine bay would be easier

Inner wings looking better! Are you doing any work to the front panel (light surrounds)?

The front panel really is past it, so i will be replacing it with a second hand one that iv'e got along with second hand wings, so that overcomes that hurdle, Rizzo, I was thinking the same only I'm not brave enough to strip the whole front down to the chassis rails

Not a lot done on this lately, been doing work on the house, finished the welding on the front offside, even with repair panels there was still some fabricating to do on the wing rail & headlight mounting. Will put up some pics later
