Rang east kent trim up on thursday (as they don't seem to answer emails) and asked wether they are now doing one piece rear seals. The answer was no, but they are doing the bottom section with the moulded corners attached so you don't have to mitre them to section of off the roll seal. So that's what i've ordered, any recommendations for which glue to us?

I used a good superglue on mine and it's still holding 5 years later

That's odd if they have gone through the trouble of making a 1 piece seal you would have thought they could spend the time to make it fit? perhaps its for something else?

Cool, how did you manage to get a nice straight clean cut? jig or similar to hold the rubber? Yes very strange, not sure where its going to need cutting yet as not taken it out the packaging. Should be pulling the glass out next month so will have a better idea then.

I just held it down and used a new Stanley blade, if I remember correctly I didn't put the blade in the knife, just held it and cut the rubber on the backward stroke so you use the full length of the blade.

Hi guys, quick update on the rear screen rubber. Across the bottom corner to corner seems to fit well, you just have to remove 4" or so from the top section and re join. Be a couple of weeks before it gets fitted to the car, but fitted to the screen now :D
