Mystery hose

Hello all,

Nearing the end of recommissioning process. Put in a new fuel line. There is the the hose in the under photo- it appears to have split and also to go into/come out of the chassis rail. Can someone please enlighten me as regards what it is and if it is in some way part of the fuel delivery line.

Is it a vent pipe from the tank?

That's the vent hose that goes from the breather on the top of the rear axle, slightly to the nearside of the diff, into the rear chassis rail.

Nothing to do with the fuel line.
