Just had a thought

I have been posting about my tales of woe with my new viva. I want to keep posting my progress (which is not going to be very fast) but am conscious that I am posting in the Mechanical section. This was because I originally wanted help. It probably isn't the right place to keep doing it, but there doesn't seem anywhere else more appropriate.

Could we have a Restoration section as it would seem a good place to put stuff like that? I would be really interested to see others progress with their Vivas as and when they happen. Plus if I hit a snag, it would be good to get comments from others who may have faced the same problem themselves at some point.

As concours has not had any posts, perhaps it could replace that section rather than make an additional one.

As I said, just a thought.
