Sids makeover/rebuild progress report update, 21/05

Thought it was time to put up a work in progress report.
Monday
serviced and new timing belt :D
New number plates

Wednesday
bought myself some new guages and a Mountney steering wheel
made an aluminium centre console and fitted a remote ignition and start unit 8)

Thursday
Adjusted ,cleaned and painted the brakes, checked all the oil levels , started to fit a flamer kit
fitted new sparco harnesses
started stripping out the interior for prep and paint
adjusted the exhaust to stop it banging so much
painted the wheels (until i get my new minilites next week)
got all my paint delivered today :wink:

haha Peter, thats MOLLY the watch dog !, (until the clifford goes in).
Dont know why, but she likes to be either sleeping around the HB or actually go for a run in it :shock: , which is unusual for her as she wont go in a strange car!
Mark took the pics of Molly and Ally's hair as he thought it was funny his hair and the brake drums being the same colour ........boys :roll:

There's nothing wrong with having pink hair. 8)

it was supposed to be pink lol.. its not red gone wrong :lol:

got a few switches today for the flamer kit and other accesories, think im going to put the overdrive on a switch on my centre panel instead of on the gear knob.

also bought another set of bonnet pins ( for £1!! :D ) and kill switch to totally kill the power, which will be fitted inline to the switch/push button start so that it wont start unless the kill switch is on.

started a bit of fibre work on the front panel today :D and cut out the indented rectangle bit, to get a bit more air in :D i dare say papa bear will read this and no doubt put some pics up :P *hint hint*

update on the bodywork side.

refinished front panel and recess cut out for some more airflow.
