thought I'd update you as I got a reply from frost today. U220 Interior coat aerosol is a PAINT not a dye as previously stated. The bloke said that following the instructions should leave the finish I desire. Needless to say it didnt first time. The powdery finish does seem to wipe off however, so it still leaves a decent finish. Whether it will rub off in time who knows. I'm a bit dubious about doing my seats with it. Has anyone who used it on seats had it wear off giving them a paint covered *Bleep*?

If you are going to the national, bring your dash and i will restore it for you there. I`ll bring my kit with me and can do it there and then!

Thanks for the offer but I've decided to recover the dash instead so I'm in the process of getting the vinyl. Cheers anyway

Dont forget you`ll need to heat the vinyl up before you apply it.

Yeah. A guy at work has done it before restoring triumphs so I'm getting him to give me a hand. I'll be interested to see how it comes out
