It's looking well good mate :D
Keep up that standard of resto and you easily make the the 1200 mile round trip for Billing!

Its going pretty well so far...found that it had skin sills but nothing else thats major... :?

all sorted now. Its now flipped on its other side to do the other sill, finish the stonechip and paint the bottom...then its on to bodywork. deep joy... :roll:

Heres a pic of the scabby inner wing I want to replace, its not a bad repair, but its made from flat sheet and doesnt look right. theres one on fleabay just now so heres hoping!!

I stripped my new wing to bare metal, then I painted it with two pack etch primer...nearly did myself in with the fumes!! and that was with a fancy pants organic filter!!!

no pics of it in primer as I had to go and recover... :shock:

Looking good Scott , hopefully ready for Billing etc.

As for the fumes etc,,, now you know how I feel doing it every day!
(does make for a cheap night out on the beer though as your flying before you start!) :wink:

paint fumes and alchohol.....sounds interesting!! :D

did a bit more today, stripped the roof and etched it, along with the engine bay.

the engine bay need more work, I got an inner wing from ebay, so theres that to do along with general unused hole filling... 8)

stripped the floor,messy and took all day!! didnt find any rust. Can only be a goo thing!!
