Just a little update to prove to you all that I'm not dead yet! We've been very busy working on my Chevette to get it ready to go to Le Mans (less than a month to go!!)

Last night we pulled her out of the paint shop.....

Shiny! Don't park it in the woods and leave it. You might not find it again!

That looks superb! You leaving the bumpers off or putting them back?

Everything is going back on for that almost original look, just with added bubble wrap to avoid any potential scratches!

Now that the badges and bumpers are going on (no pictures yet) the green is being broken up - so that she looks slightly less like a turtle and more like a

really amazing car.

I'm confused. You said you are going to Le Mans in it. Isnt the 24hr race on now? According to teletext Alan McNish in an Audi is winning?? :?

The modern race is as boring as sin - I'm going to where the fun is at the CLASSIC Le Mans race (we're leaving in about 23 days!)

Its a great event. Much better than the one in June. I went to the last one in 2006 and will be there again this year. If you get a chance to do any paddock walkabout stuff, try and look me up either in group 5 or group 6 as were running 2 cars this time. Yellow Lola T70 in group 5 and Red Coca-Cola sponsored Lola T280 in group 6 if we get it finished in time...

Give us a shout.
