Oh no it's fine, I was just a bit surprised and pleased to see it.
People often stop and want to chat(about the car). One chap pulled up and asked who it belonged to,the other day and said he had been dyeing to ask if the first owner on the logbook was his Father,as he had one the same in 69.
Unfortunately they only put the previous owner on the V5 however I'm only the third owner.
I spent a couple of hours last summer chatting to a guy with a Victor 101,whom took the first 3 pics on my FlickR link.
We exchanged quite a few photos and I was able pass some on to Peter. :goodideasign:
I also remet some folk I haven't seen for 15 years at a show and was so busy chatting to the owner of a Viva SL, that I didn't notice one called Maximan, with the HLS version his Dad bought new. I gave him a load of my spares, when the Maxi I ran as everyday transport whilst rebuilding a couple of V8s was defunct,he and his mate with a lovely Consul Capri were in the same club as me,back in the day.nice to have made a lot of new friends too.

White HA, NBP 648D, if you can look it up in the register, and be dismayed!
Edd 619C, thats a new one to the register.
EWP47J Very early HC, new to the register, first registered, 23 Nov 1970. Not sure of the model, looks like a GLS badge on the boot and GLS bumpers, but not at that age.

If you want a list of previous keepers, you can fill out a form V888 and send it to the DVLA with a fiver and they'll send you copies of previous V5s and the original application for registration, if they have them. They're usually terrible quality photocopies, or they were when I did mine, but you can usually see who the previous owners were. Not so intriguing if you're only the third.
