Theres a least 3 people on this forum plus the seller who have owned that car at some point. It a very original GT, I owned it for about 6 years in the late 80's early 90's. Sold it for £400!!!!!! :point:

Get it bought and enjoy it.

I promise you it has .... All will become clear.
I buy cars from people..... and also sell to people and once he had gone through my list
of criteria as a potential new owner and custodian .....I then agreed he could become the next guardian.
A senior man..... and a true gent.
He has owned one in the dim and distant past.....and yes a Le Mans blue one.
He also has a PA Cresta.
And yes...I will be sending Fred his address for a membership form.

Interestingly..... I had an E Mail from the chap who purchased it from NEW....Just such
a small world.

The car had over 900 views in only a few days.

Excellent news, lotto win carnt be far off now!!!
I tried to find the original owner when I had it. Got details of past owners from DVLA(they would send you them for a fiver then), wrote letters but never got anything back. Would like to see email if possible?

Peter would show you happily......but I fear deleted.
He said..... He purchased NEW from a Bournemouth Vauxhall dealer .... and I am pretty sure Adrian
knows the man.
Something like C higginbottom ....
When you sell on Car & Classic you can elect to use their Privacy service so you don't have to give your own
phone or email....The calls or mails just get forwarded on to you.
Car is now fuelled. ( I hate it when I buy a car and its empty) ....cleaned....and waiting for collection.

So ORU is safely with its new owner..... after close to a 900 mile trip.....To Shetland....and he is a happy chap.
I will be mailing Fred his details for membership forms of course.
A past GT owner.....in Le Mans Blue...... who like me had the urge to own another one.
I m 100% happy its safe in his hands and we are already talking about the Shetland Show next year with me to
fly up for it and see the car once more.
Was I at all sad as it disappeared up the road .... after some nine years in my care.. Yes of course.....but it left
me in a condition that will see it last for many, many years.
