BBC 2 Thursday evening 9pm.
From the Cradle to the Grave, Peter Kays current comedy offering. Episode 6.

Henley Blue HC, 4dr Deluxe, Tan interior.
JNJ 822J.

However, the DVLA has no record of that reg number so possibly a false one.

Not wanting to start a new subject - I was watching the BBC4s "Girl in a band" recorded last week, a documentary about, well, girls in bands. During a brief section talking to Pauline Murray from Penetration, there is a brief glimpse of a light green HB, whose registration is something like HEO 97G, or possibly HEG or HEC.

We dont have any of those reg numbers, neither does the DVLA.

Watching the start of "Cemetery Junction" which was on TV the other night, so far I've seen a Coppertone HC wearing WGW737L, and a HB police car wearing MEY550H. I suspect the HC is not on the right plates as it seems to have "Viva 1300 GLS" on the boot and a black rear panel, which would suggest it being a later car on older plates so as to not alert people like me, given the caption "Summer 1973" that had just appeared on the screen.

WGW 737L, we dont have it, and neither does the DVLA, so correct, probably made plates. The HB police car is well known, we have it in the register, been around quite awhile.

Shed and Buried.
Episode about 70's Jap bikes.
Blue HA Van in one shed, they reckon its a Deluxe model because of shiny trim down the side?

Just watching the re-run of Spooks on Saturday night, and there's a white HA van parked outside one of the houses used a few times. It's a bit of a weird one, it's clearly a white HA van, but it has tarpaulin over the back section that sometimes looks as if there is no metalwork there - as if someone was cutting it down to a pick-up but hadn't removed the back doors yet. No visible registration - there's a plate that's artfully hanging off and looks blank.

Catching up on some old recordings last night, I was watching a 30-minute programme about the 50th anniversary of the Severn Bridge, and in some footage of the ferry that was replaced by the bridge, there's a short clip showing a HA saloon driving onto the ferry.
