Yeah that was the "barn find" on the Vauxhall Heritage stand - not that bad when you looked closely - main areas of rust - front wings - corners of the floor - wonder if he saw the pristine one on the VVOC Stand viewtopic.php?f=4&t=26775
I would've liked to of seen some more pictures of the estate barn find. I just took a look at the link you posted and HOLY MOLY! The convertible! I've never seen one before... was they made from factory or is it a custom job? Absolutely lovely though either way
The convertible you mentioned is a conversion of an HB SL 90 done by Crayford - they only ever did 7 I believe. Adrian - the owner - will put me right if I have got it wrong http://crayfordconvertibleclub.com/conv ... xhall.html
only 7! it makes me wonder how many currently survive now i really want to see one with the roof up! i had recently seen of a red hc magnum convertible on ebay and i wonder if that was a proper conversion i know who ever bought it, popped it straight back on ebay, as it was a different seller.
I didn't see the link haha. The Crayford convertible was from £1150 to £1250 :0 I have to say i'm not keen on the roof being up, but looks lovely down if only I had one... all the women would come running at me on a hot summers day well that's if we see a hot summers day haha
