This van was initially on ebay a few months ago. Where after a long search to find one, I came across this one, on the ebay back pages (completed item listings) I contacted the seller, in Leicestershire, a very nice chap :respekt: who's fed up with tyre kickers and dreamers, and hey presto!

I'm looking for a few spares for it, just little things really. Although I'm sure there'll be many more as time goes by.
Namely, a tilting passenger seat frame and the rubber blocks for the rear door catch, upper and lower. Oh! and some rear bumper brackets.

My direct email address is; dalespiers@hotmail.com

More pictures to follow when I managed to take some better ones, lol. :thanx:

Regards, Dale.

Hi dale and welcome, :welcome: Nice to see another van with a good home..
I seem to remember it seemed a good solid van!!! I will have a look at my spares for a tilting seat frame!!
Not sure what you mean by rubber blocks top and bottom on rear door!!!
is it outer or inner rear bumper brackets you need as they wont be a problem!!!
If your not already a club member i would advise you join as it allows full access to forum/ a decent mag / spares ect ect!!
Any questions ask away as someone on here will know!!!!
P.S have i just sold you some spares on ebay by chance???

Ive 4 spares vans in my garden ranging from 80 to 83 and all of them have tilting passenger seats but the BT one had been bolted down so it couldnt be lifted! Probably because it had a bulkhead fitted, so check your seat hasnt simply been bolted down!!!!!

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the warm welcome. You have sold me some parts, namely the exhaust back box. Although inside the box you sent me, there's a detachable 'swan neck' for a tow bar? Do you require this part back?

I'm assuming that they are rubber blocks, lol. On the van floor, toward the rear doors, there's a square cut out for the locking rod of the latch mechanism to sit in. There's also another cut out in the roof panel for the upper rod to go into. Would you know if there was a parts book available, say a photocopied example. As these are always a good source of info.
The required bumper brackets are the outer ones, that support the curved egdes of the rear bumper, as it's looks like a 'pea on a drum' at the moment.
I will be joining the club :goodideasign:

I'll get around to the feedback as well. Thanks again.

Regards, Dale.

Hi dale, SWAN NECK!! strange.. could you email me a piccie and i will know if its mine or not!! bedfordbad@talktalk.net
ive attatched 2 pics of how bedford fastened the bumpers on, its just a bent bit of metal about 20mm wide and about 50-60mm long...
There is no rubber blocks in the square holes, the door seal takes up any slack in the doors!!
There is a GM parts book but very hard to find... buy the haynes manual theres plenty on ebay, theres also a set of 5 GM manuals usually available on ebay but these are for earlier models!!
regards steven
