I need to get a set of wheels with inflatable tyres (not necessarily legal tread) to swap onto the car for transporting and storing it as the tyres have literally just perished. Being the ever observant bloke that i am i forgot to check the wheel size. With this being a 1600 will it have 12" or 12" wheels and does anybody have an old set of wheels tyres that would do the job? The only other wheels i have where on my firenza when i collected it which had been sitting longer than this one!!!

Think it will have 12" wheels, not that you gave us much choice :whistle3: Only the HB GT had 13" wheels.

Right, well i've sorted out some tyres for the salvage operation! My bro kindly gave me some old baldies removed from a vehicle having fresh one's fitted at his garage. They were then fitted to the standard steels that were once on my firenza (now sitting on rostyles) and are waiting in my garage ready for when Ellen comes home after christmas so i can arrange collection :-). All being well i should have the car in my possesion before i go back to work in early january

I was pleasantly surprised that the brakes came unstuck relatively easy :D
