GOOD GRIEF!!!! Another of my old HB's. Got that one free from a bloke in York. Been in his family from almost new. He was emigrating and it needed to go. Was covered in waxoil when I got it. Had the 1159 engine but fitted with a Janspeed 4-branch exhaust, which Mr Edgoose ended up with. It had had a later dash fitted so had 2 sets of switches and 2 ignitions, needed both keys to start the car! Sold it to a bloke at work who did a bit of work on it, then he bought a Fiat X1/9. Viva went to a chap in Newcastle. He had my spare 2.0L OHC block as well. Think his name was Colin, but might be wrong, had a 3.0L Carlton Est to tow it with. The top surfaces of the body had small pinpricks of rust all over due to a damp garage, but the sides and chrome polished up well. The interior wasnt bad, carpets and headlinning where tatty.
Has pulled from the garage in York.
Starting to clean up.
2 ignitions!
This was all back in the mid to late 90's.
Good to see its still alive!!
