Always worth doing. We've had a series of people offer to "do" the DSG site, start off, get to a point where the site is being promoted, then disappear off the face of the earth, and it reflects badly on people who had no control over it. And I know from experience at work that just knowing all the site is backed up in an easily-recoverable form is very calming.
