Private Message problem

Help please! I can't send private messages. When I click on the Submit button they go to my Outbox and stay there. How do I actually send them? This used to work OK, and previously sent messages are in my Sentbox, but the last two PMs I have sent have gone only as far as my Outbox and one of them has sat there for weeks. I have tried editing and resending but to no avail. What am I doing wrong?

I think they stay in your outbox until they have been received by the person who you send it to.

When they next log in, they should get the pop-up message to look, then it switches to your sentbox.

I checked this out with a test PM to another member and when he read it the PM moved from my Outbox to my Sentbox.
