Good save there. A lot to chew on if it's to be restored though.

This was the day of the Trminator  - or to most who know hin Ade with plasma cutter
What better way to enjoy your Sunday than cutting the last good bits out of this sorry donor.
Have to say Ade handles the plasma cuter like a surgeon and soon set to work lightening the front end.

This lead to some maybe usefull repair sections if anyone is interested

With the engine bay lightened for speed

It was off with the roof - if someone wants to do a roof transplant we have a good un :P - its standing at the back in the collection of panels

With Ade in full flow we arrived at a new concept - the Viva Moke

As the day wore on we ended up with a pile of sections - some scrap - a bag full of Cornish dirt and rust flakes and Ade had his bulk head and rear boot section for reconstituting his Firenza rebuild :P
What we thought was a 2 hour job turned out to be 4 and it really didnt want to give up its panels without a fight.
Oh - and Dan - Ade cut the rear footwell out that you marked which i will bring to Billing at the weekend
Was a hard at the shed but rewarding to get it sorted and Ade's Plasma cutter made life more bearable - wouldnt have wanted to do that with the angle grionder :respekt:
