For sale is my 74 Magnum Coupe 2.3 auto in cedar green star fire, owned by me since around 1998, it is with much regret that the time has come to pass the car on to someone with more time and space than me, a lot has changed with work commitments , space and private life over the passed five or so years, so this is what I have for sale.
The car has had a lot of work done over the years, striped down to a shell, two new wings original GM, two new cills original GM, all welding done,not that it needed a lot, rear wheel arches, under side resealed, engine bay stripped and re sprayed, boot area stripped and re sprayed, in side of both doors re sprayed both have had new door skins put on, bonnet re sprayed and boot lid re sprayed, all done by a body shop, not me. the main shell needs doing. engine was striped down and taken to the engine centre in High Wycombe (CK Motors) who specialise in old engines and was re bored , head skimmed, valve's re seated, new bearings etc and rebuilt, the engine is back in the car, both axles rebuilt with new poly bushes. basically its a rolling shell with just a few bits to put on to get it running, radiator is in and re cord ,lots of other bits done nearly all new parts,comes from auto jumbling for nearly 30 years picking bits up, i.e. new rear lights, new grill etc. etc. car has always been in a garage even before I got it.
The car comes with what I would say enough bits to finish, and a lot of spare parts that will all go with the car, I will not split so please don't ask.
Has No tax or MOT obviously, DVLA still no about the car and the reg.
A spare auto engine only covered 39000 miles came from a late 78 model so has the later head on it as does the car for sale, spare gear box one auto two manual, to much to list, I have a transit tipper and I recon it would fill that up.
Ive seen Six of these cars and only one other in cedar green star fire, but there could be more around, very rare.
The car is located in Marlow Buckinghamshire SL7, its in a friends garage at the moment blocked in so taking photos is a bit awkward until hes moved some stuff, but it can be viewed in the garage, probably better to come and see it and the parts,
As for the price of the car and parts im not really sure, Probably looking around £3000, basically to cover my costs but open to offers, not stupid ones tho
