Fred,

Do you still have HC rads in stock? Do you have any idea of carriage costs? I'm in Southampton so it would be an expensive collection trip.

Mike - I have HC OHV (small engine radiator) or OHC - which do you want? - will have to work out carriage cost - trouble is I need the exchange old one returned.
Ideally if you can find someone coming to the Spares Day - 1st March - at Ryton on Dunsmore who would be prepared to bring old rad and pick up new one - that would be your best bet - help with some petrol money?

£50 exchange is a lot when compared to a full radiator, but i have seen people wanting to change anything up to £200 for a heater matrix.. basically trying it on...

I shall be in touch soon about a HB one :) assuming i don't found something in the meantime.

I got a price of well over £100 for re-coring a heater matrix from a vehicle heater specialist, so by comparison to that it's not bad, but I see what you mean re the respective sizes / volume of new material used.

I sourced a modern matrix that's very similar to my HC one but two years later I still haven't got around to fitting it.
