Spares Day 2015

Hi All,

Slowly gearing up for the spares Day and wondered if anybody wanted anything in particular bringing or box of certain items to have a rummage through??

Hi Chris, I have a fairly large boxfull of stuff I may want to bring up as well if anyone is interested, but I'm not sure of the format!! It's surplus stuff to me and the Club can have it afterwards if there are no buyers on the day.

Never been to one of these before, so Is it like a car boot for Vauxhall spares , or what? and if so do we need to book a table? Is it inside, or outside?

Looking forward to it, whatever.

Also If anyone has a light/wiper switch surround for an HA, chrome or black not bothered, that I can purchase, you will be my friend for life!!

I haven't been to the spares day for a couple of years but I'm staying in the area this year so might go.

I had found though that few HC parts were available, more modern stuff... Corsa, Cavalier, Vectra etc.

Always thought Billing was better but Ebay is hoovering up many of these parts.

Hi Paul. Sold the gearboxes to another Member, but I still have the short block, so will bring that with me. Plus I have quite a few other, smaller engine bits and bobs so will bring them as well.

There is a good HC 2 door up in the shed - belongs to the club - not sure if it is o/s or n/s - will check

As i'm after a passenger side rear i'd say it's 4 door fred.... if we have one,what sort of money are we talking?

missed the "rear " bit - will take some pics - do you want glass? - door seal ? which on mine are good if I remember

It's ok,i'll put it down to your age! I wont need the glass but may as well leave the seal on it
