The carpet in this advert was sold last year, I was wondering if the carpet has been put in a car or lying unused in someones shed, as I would be very interested in purchasing it

I contacted the seller but unfortunately he can't remember to whom the carpet was sold to.

Are the Coverdale carpets no good for this earlier floorpan, or is it just that you want a single-piece moulded carpet rather than the individual bits?

Would rather have a one piece original item,

Aldridge Trimming have said the would be able to make a bespoke carpet with underlay but very costly, cheaper with a carpet to use as a template.

Have a Coverdale carpet in my H.B. very pleased with it on the whole, but the H,B, carpet came from new in sections

OK, fair enough, I thought it would be something like that. I'm not happy with multi-section carpets in my Firenza, but once I knew that's how they come now I made them myself. Probably not as neat as the Coverdale ones. I wondered about lining the floorpan with a plastic membrane then coating it in a couple of coats of fibreglass matting. It could then be removed from the car (perhaps needing a cut across somewhere) and the carpet stuck very neatly into the fibreglass piece.
