Hi there, just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I live in Toronto and this week bought a 1969 Viva GT. Still trying to make sense of what I have as it may have been badged as an Envoy here in Canada. At any rate, it is an unfinished project with the body done and painted, the headliner installed and many new parts. This also means it is like a puzzle without a box and I will need help figuring out where everything goes. The previous owner seems to have been a member of this club as I have receipts for his dues. I will pick up the car in about two weeks. I also have a 1976 MG Midget (chrome bumper conversion) that is fully restored and a 1958 Fiat Multipla that is garage art and will be going into storage to be restored at a later date.

Is there a way to upload pictures or do they need to be linked?

am I correct that Tasmin Orange was not originally a GT colour? I think it was originally Monza Red - would that make sense? BTW can I sort out the approximate build date or even whether it is a Mk 1, Mk 1 1/2 or Mk 2 by the VIN?

Think that was an original colour. The Mk1 GT had the black bonnet etc, the Mk2 didnt.
