just to give everyone a laugh, this is me and mine (H reg, 2dr SL)in early 1976 just after I bought her

Sadly, the old girl has been off the road for "some time" waiting restoration. Much welding is required on the underside, but she does "run" - at least the length of my drive way! The original 1159 engine was replaced with a 1256 taken from a scrapped Chevette with only 7000 miles on it. Currently, it has the old Zenith sitting on top of it, but in my secret cupboard there is a brand new Weber 34DMTR with the right chokes for a 1200/1300cc engine; brmm brmm! Sadly, my waistline has expanded some since this picture was taken, so in fact I did actually throw the clothes away - they got covered in Hypoy EP80 anyway!
