Hi Everyone

Hi Everyone, another Newbie here... I'm currently trying to restore my HB GT but am seeking out parts to complete.. The obvious 'gold dust' ones, as in, interior panels.. etc.. but just at the moment i'm looking for suspension and steering parts even if they're not too good ones,it'd mean i could take the originals off to restore... hope to get involved regularly with the club and thanx for having me...

Hi Red, welcome, looks like a nice project you have there. I am sure you will find all the parts, assistance, enthusiasm and knowledge you will ever need viva wise but a good idea to join the owners club for access to other area's on the forum and greater access to parts etc. Good luck with the resto :D

Hello and welcome

I wish you the best of luck in your restoration, you are right as to the "gold dust" bits of your restoration but things do come up....if you are willing to pay the price. Suspension and steering should not be too much of a problem as the parts were used on both the HB and HC and bushings are also readily available. Are you joined up to the club? if so you will be able to get access to the parts scheme of the club.

Pictures please!

Thanx guys for the welcome.. I'm a fully payed up member(hb 382) of the club and you're certainly right about the amount of parts available, there's more than I thought.. I'm hoping to get down to Billing and have a search down there for bits and bobs.. I'll try and post more pics of red when I can find some because at the moment she's hiding under a cover...
