project hb

Postby steve4vivas » Wed Aug 29, 2012 2:59 pm

Here is the start of the welding project for my hb as you can see whrn on the ramp you could see a lot of major welding and fabrication to be done and got quoted by gsrage in the thousands. Did not havd the heart to get rid of the car as i ve owned it 24 years so decided to look for Mobile welder and have found one that doez nt mind me doing the grinding and fabrication.

Looks good Steve, usual HB rotspots I think, more photos when you can please (a resto thread), looks like you're going places with it. Not sure about the colour, a bit blingy, more suited to a Capri. I think the darker looking gold of the HC would better suit the HB a treat too. Stonechip vinyl roof aargh! Poor Viva.

Yes
the stonechip vynl roof is the big joke we re having at work at the moment but hopefully when i get some pocket money i ll get it revynled and have one of the fold back sunroofs ( long term goal as there s a lot of other things going on at the mo) however at least the hb has still got the original vynl roof from when it was new
