Hi everyone, my first vauxhall viva was a Monza red 1970 mk2 Viva GT (RAR 360H) which was my pride and joy and always regretted letting it go. However, my family bought me a Viva HB project for my christmas present which I cant wait to start.
I cannot be described as a pureist and hope that by changing some things I wont upset to many. The GT has always been my goal but they are like hens teeth, so my little HB is going to have to fit the bill. Not sure if the engine is a runner, but have a nice 360ci mopar and box in the workshop so that would mean axle chage, front struts, discs and chassis strengthen.
It has drums all round which i would definately want to change fronts to discs as a start.
I will post pics and progress as I go along and decide what route(s) to take.
(we run a comp altered dragster so do have a bit of mechanical knowledge, but will be asking all sorts of stupid and sensible questions about what fits what)
