I tell you what, he best trip I ever did that was relaxing driving was through France to a Bannegon then onto Annuac, we stuck to back roads and stopped in leafy laybys and French villages, eating Baguettes, ham and cheese plus there very very yummy cakes!!!

Scenery wise, we went to Switzerland for an Land Rover Event, and ended up driving up the mountains offroad, sitting in a Shepards house in the middle of the mountains eating home grown food was amazing. Only downside was that our brakes failed on the descent, Master cylinder seal popped.. we made it back but I had to change my pants several times

Ha ha I like it!
They sound like awesome holidays, road trips can be so good and it's just great to stop when and where something appeals, be it scenery, architecture or food.

The thought of doing a long trip in one of our classics is very appealing- we intended to take the Amazon to Sweden for her 50th birthday and then again this summer, but something always comes up :?
