Scottish Magnum 1800

Postby krm57 » Sat May 18, 2013 3:34 pm

Hi, from Edinburgh!

I have just taken possession of an 1800 Magnum. It will need a bit of fettling to get it through the MOT though. I shall be looking for plenty of advice no doubt.

Up to now I have been tinkering with my Hillman Imp :P

Any other members in Ecosse?

Cheers

I'm in the Borders, with an HB.

Yes there's a fair few of us up here, scattered far and wide though, that I know only through this forum, either with cars on the road or restoration projects ongoing and many just over the border from me, Northumberland, Newcastle, Cumbria and such exotic places too.

Good luck with yours. For help and advice this forum and the associated VV Owner's Club can't be beaten.

Your Magnum sounds cool, you must post some pictures up, let us see this beastie.

:welcome:

Don't forget the Hillman Imp too, iconic gorgeous little motors, my second favourite after the Viva.

Hello and welcome. Quite a few members in Scotland. Whats the reg number of your Magnum? We like pictures. Ask any questions you have, you might get a sensible answer! If you join the Owners club you will get access to the spares scheme, club magazine, and the rest of this forum. Lets see some Imp pictures as well.

Keith

Yes there's a few of us in the central belt. I am in sunny Lanarkshire and there's 3 or 4 owners locally.

Cheers

Hello Keith,

I am in Rosyth, so if you need any help just give me a call, not much experience with Vivas but have had old Vauxhalls for nearly 40 years now.

Regards, Fraser.
