Hello

I am wondering if anyone has my old Viva HA, it was/is and SL90 red (Calypso I think) and its reg was GJA179D. I noticed from the DVLA it is still listed and it would be nice to know if it is still around, being restored etc. I think I have some photos and details of its early life in Heaton Chapel Stockport.

Hello and welcome. We dont have that car listed in our register, we have a GFJ 179D, but thats a blue one. Last taxed in 1991.

DVLA says your was last taxed in 1983. Chances are its long gone. Would be interested in seeing any photos and info you have of the car.

Code: Select all
The vehicle details for GJA 179D are:
Date of Liability 01 06 1983
Date of First Registration 01 05 1966
Year of Manufacture Not Available
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1057cc

Always a slight chance its hidden in some lockup, :goodluck:

Hi yes I didn't know if it was listed on DVLA if it meant it was still alive and not scrapped etc, as you say probably long gone. I will have to dig out my old photo album and see if they can be scanned.

Thanks for your reply much appreciated my second car was a Firenza SVM 650K but there is no record on DVLA.

Hi I meant to also say the Car was originally supplied by the Chapel House garage in Stockport and I was the cars second owner, I purchased it in 1973 and had it for 3-4 years I seem to remember before selling it to my great aunt. She had learnt to drive in the army and never really got the hang of such a light clutch, she was also very deaf and you could hear the clutch being let out all the way up the road so the car had numerous clutches over the next few years of its life.
