Hi all a newbie on here and a newbie to vivas , always been a ford man but got an interest in all classics.
Came across a 1971 viva hc 4door in a workshop where i did some work. Found out the car was parked up to change the wing in 1993 and the elderly owner never came round to do it. A deal was made and its now mine with one previous owner and geniune 60000 miles.
Underneath its mint as is the interior and in the boot, but as ive gathered its rusted in the common spots being wings , inner wings and rear arches but i aquired it as a project and will be restoring it to its original condition as and when the funds and time allows.

If the arches are still good on the front wings, just cut them off - and use them on the rear. They are exactly the same size & shape. Recycle !
