Hi from Slovenia, after 35 years in garage

Dear all,

my name is Ivan im 27 years old, and i live in a beautiful city of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia.
My grandfather was a gentlemen and of course he bought him self a sutable car, Vauxhall Viva 1.3, that was a rare thing in Yugoslavia.

After few years of usage and 36.000km, he and my grandmother divorced. They couldn talk out, who will take the car, and since 1979, the car was in garage all the time..

interior looks like new;)


Because Croatia (where my grandfather is from) was not a part of European Union, we had problems getting the car to Slovenia, because all documents were lost and my grandfather dyed 10 years ago. After last year Croatia become member of EU, i just couldnt find the time to organise the transport of the car, so days went by and nothing happened. on the 13.6.2015 i organised my birthday. It was a big party in front of my house, with aprox 70 people, and at around midnight i got a best present ever. My friends brought the viva to Slovenia. I was crying when i saw what effort they did to make me happy;)

So now, im searching for a good online shop to buy spare parts i need:oil and air filter, spark plugs, and some other parts - Please help me - what do you recomend?

hi Ivan. . Great car you have there and even better friends for arranging to get the car shipped over!!!
Best thing you can do is join the club to gain access to the spares scheme and also you will gain full access to the forum and magazines ect

Good luck with car I have to agree with the above comment join the club as the help and spares help is greater with membership.
And I'm sure if you have any questions the guys on here will help as much as they can.
