Hello again

Postby tobias » Fri Sep 25, 2015 5:05 pm

Hello
I joined this forum a little while ago but didn't really get involved as my viva took a back step in my life. I am now at a point where the old girl (HC 2 door, british racing green) is about to get the attention she deserves.

Quick question, does anyone know if you can get a floor pan for a viva hc ( drivers side), I spoken to a few people and they seem to be of the mind that they are as common as Rocking horse *Bleep*. If they don't exist, is there another car which the floor pans are compatible.

Cheers for any advise.
Tobias

PS also rubbers for the back side windows, also i have a big box of spare parts, when I have time I will list on here (spare front grill ect)

Cheers

Welcome back to the Forum - there will be a guy called Pete wanting pics and registration No. for the register  You will have to fabricate your floor panels - there never was any repair panels
Should you want to consider full membership i have attached forms etc. We have an active member in Poole with a Firenza called Viva boy - you might want to get in touch

And like a bad smell here I am asking for reg number and pictures of car! Welcome back. You quite possibly have already given me the info when you first joined.

There was a stand at Billing Autojumble selling floor sections, home made, carnt remember who.

Hello,

I actually don't live in Bournemouth anymore, I have now moved to London but the car is in storage at my families house until I get her well enough to drive back to my new home in High Barnet.

reg is KEG 546L

Not sure if I any pictures yet on the new phone.

So back to my original question, the floor pans, would any other car be compatible, I think I once read about a guy who used mk 1 astra. If not, my friend will be doing the welding and I'm sure it will be fine, just to patch her up for now.

Ps back window rubbers.

Do have a picture but having a few issues with uploading it, you will have to excuse me for that omission.

It was also for sale in the Winter 94/95 Club mag, and has been a Club Cup winner in the past.

Hello

Well, who knows, she might be a winner again one day....lol. She needs a good clean and she still comes up nice.

Thank you for all the info and the welcome.

Quick question.......Rubber door seals, can these still be sourced, are they interchangeable with our makes or models. Mine leak pretty bad, hence why a little welding is in needed.

Really would appreciate any info
