Hello Folks,

I am Simon from Ipswich and I am the new owner of the 2-door '79 TTJ351V that was operated by Brian Holmes.

I understand the car Rosie, is known to the club. The specification is an L, in Royal Red with a cream vinyl roof. The vehicle has only 39,000 miles and has been very well cared for over the years.

My son and I went to see the car in March and it was love at first sight! When driving Rosie home we took the back roads and clocked up well over 300 miles in one day, without a hiccup. Brian assures me that was the longest journey to date.

So why a Viva? I enjoyed driving HA vans for work in the early 80s, I owned a Chevette whilst at university (it took me over 24,000 miles) and Vivas just look so cool. Plus what I have seen so far the Viva, they are better engineered than other cars of that era.

We are now looking forward to shows and weekend jaunts with Rosie.

All the best,
Simon B.

Hi Fred,

Market Harborough sounds fun.

Where can I find more info? Can you camp?

Simon
