Hi there,

I'm Lee, and some of you might recognise me from the Austin Rover Metro Owners Club. Thought I: would join up and see what it's like over here, as I'm into Vauxhalls too :)

Here's a few pics of my current cars.

Welcome, your Allegro looks smart. I had one once, an 1100 L bright yellow. Drove quite nice, till you tried the brakes!!

Nice rides!
So what extras were put into the Allegro Special then? It had a 5 speed box didn't it?

Hi Lee

Love the Allegro. Nice to see someone is looking after this much joked about car. For all the jibes, my wife owned one a few years back and loved it. It was nippy, had plenty of space, and from my point of view, with the A series engine, easy to maintain. But for the wife's insistance on something newer, we'd probably still have it. Oh well.

Metro looks nice too. I have had some fun in the past in one I had a company car. Adjust the hand brake and... well, you get the idea, I'm sure.

Regards
Dan
