As always I will be having a Vauxhall stand at the above show which I help to organise.

I try, and fail, every year to attract Viva Owners to come along and this year is no different.

Why not come along to what many people (not us) claim to be "the best show in Scotland" you might even enjoy it!!

Sunday September the 2nd at the Vintage Bus Museum near Dunfermline.

Entry is £2 per vehicle for which you will receive a quality mug as an attendance award, free vintage bus rides, a good autojumble, period music, playing live Emma and the Ragmen and the largest collection of rods and kustoms at any show in Scotland.

Closing date is the 4th August.

Come on you Scottish guys support your Club and even get to know each other and enjoy a bit of Viva banter :P
Get in touch with Fraser now!
We have a regular crowd who come to the Club stand at Tatton Park in Cheshire and they enoy coming to the show and seeing all the vehicles and catching up with what their friends have been up to  and its cheaper than going as "joe public"

Think positive Callum - its only 135 miles - split it into 2 if you feel you need to rest up  Looks like it would be a brilliant scenic run down the east cost - if you have a backstop of a "get you home" recovery on your insurance, AA or Green Flag then get out for a challenge :P
David and Billy Maxwell travelled 400 miles + to get to the VBOA Rally last weekend :!:
Mike Stanley and myself took our HBs to the Shetlands and covered 1100 miles not counting the12 hrs sea crossing.

The last few trips have been very unsuccessful due to rough running / loss of power.

But the last trip was the worst when I had no brakes after replacing the pedal box! The only thing I can think of is if I maybe moved or damaged the seal on the master cylinder and let air into the system. I've not had any time to look into it due to working overtime and when I'm off work I have no energy because of this heat! When I do manage to get on with something then my main car has to take priority!

I'll look into it this weekend and we'll see what i can come up with.
Unless you want a Saab 99 on your stand Fraser?? ;)

Well at the moment I have nothing, I don't think that my Viva will be there either unless I can get to the bottom of the problem......

Definitely not looking good for me!

My plan this weekend was to "quickly fit" Accuspark electronic ignition to my Saab and then play with the Viva.

Now my Saab no longer runs and i haven't had a chance to look at the Viva yet :x
